Our stay at Baker Creek was truly wonderful, with so many activities available at our leisure and a cozy lodge room to return to after a long day. The location is stunning, nestled in a peaceful setting, but dining options can be a bit limited, especially for breakfast. Overall, we found great value for money and can't wait to return!

Dining options are somewhat limited, as the restaurant opens late, so it's best to bring your own breakfast foods.

Baker Creek is a hidden gem in Alberta with gorgeous cabins and breathtaking surroundings. The staff is exceptionally accommodating, especially for families with kids. We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy cabin experience with plenty of outdoor activities. However, cleanliness can be a concern, as one experience suggested housekeeping might not hit the mark every time, leading to some disappointment during our stay.

Rooms
10.0
Our one-bedroom loft cabin was perfectly designed with comfortable beds, a wood-burning fireplace, and a kitchen equipped with all the essentials. It felt luxurious and homely at the same time.

The resort is set in a stunning location amid the Rockies, perfect for nature lovers. While the lodge we stayed in had a few issues with maintenance and space, the outdoor fire pits along the river were a highlight. The convenience of being close to Lake Louise is a major plus, but the lack of sufficient dining options nearby was a bit disappointing.

Rooms
5.0
The lodge was tired and needed maintenance, such as wardrobe doors that were hanging off and mould on the curtains. It was also cramped for the number of guests advertised.
Service
6.0
Service was okay, but there seemed to be a lack of inventory checks, as we had to request missing kitchen items during our stay.
Location
10.0
The location is fantastic, nestled in the mountains and close to beautiful spots like Lake Louise. The scenery is breathtaking, with great views from the property.
Dining
5.0
The resort does not have a restaurant yet, which was inconvenient. We had to go to nearby towns for meals.
Facilities
7.0
The fire pits by the river were amazing, but we struggled to find one available for use. Overall, the facilities could be better maintained.

I had a lovely stay overall. The suites were clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant getaway. However, the proximity to the train tracks can be quite bothersome for light sleepers, and the dining options might need some advance planning as the bistro can be a bit pricey. Still, the beautiful environment and amenities make it worth considering for a relaxing escape.

Rooms
8.0
The suites are exactly as shown online, comfortable and clean with nice mountain views from the balcony. They come equipped with a microwave and mini fridge, but don't expect a full kitchen.
Service
8.0
The staff at the bistro were helpful and friendly, which enhanced the dining experience.
Location
7.0
Nestled in the mountains and right next to a beautiful river, it's a peaceful escape, although the nearby train tracks can cause disturbances.
Dining
7.0
The food at the bistro was incredible, but be prepared for higher prices, which might not suit everyone's budget.
Facilities
8.0
Great amenities like fire pits by the river and an outdoor rink added to the charm of the stay, although the lack of a full kitchen made meal prep challenging.

This resort offers a lovely escape into nature with individual chalets and a cozy atmosphere. The staff is exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, while the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. Although the dining options were limited during renovations, there's plenty to enjoy nearby. Overall, the experience feels like a great value, especially with the beautiful surroundings and relaxing facilities.

Rooms

Our individual chalet was spacious and cozy, featuring an upstairs and downstairs bedroom, a kitchenette, and a lounge. The jacuzzi studio room was immaculate and had a fantastic view, although there was a minor issue with a window that wouldn’t stay closed.
Service
10.0
The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even staying longer for our check-in and providing local dining options.
Location
10.0
Tucked away in nature, the resort is off the main highway and by the river, providing a beautiful and serene setting that’s perfect for relaxation.
Dining
7.0
While the main dining facilities were under renovation during our stay, we received great recommendations for local food options, and the bistro on-site had cozy offerings.
Facilities

The outdoor picnic areas and upcoming swimming pool construction add to the resort’s charm. Fire pits around the property are also a delightful touch for cozy evenings.
